We've moved!
A week ago we packed up our home in Columbus, Ohio and headed across the country to San Francisco, California. We appreciated your patience last week and are now fully operational and fulfilling new orders immediately.
We're incredibly excited to start our new lives in California and hope that we can meet some of you. If you are local to the Bay Area, we'd love to hear from you!
Level Two Sabre
The launch of the Sabre has been incredibly successful. When we began to design the Sabre, we started with the intention to create a fairly mild and incredibly user friendly razor. Dozens of positive reviews attest that we have accomplished this goal (see the video above). In order to make this modern GEM razor even more appealing to all wet shavers, we are excited to introduce a new Level Two base plate option. The original Sabre base plate (now referred to as Level One) has a blade gap of 0.60mm. The Level Two base plate has a blade gap of 0.90mm and will be the perfect fit for fans of the Sabre who would prefer bit more aggressiveness and efficiency. The Level Two base plate is in production now and will be available in the coming weeks. Both base plates will be available individually as well as part of the full razor.

Increased Availability of Polished Razors
Our hand-polished Blackbirds and Sabres have been incredibly popular, but we've had a hard time keeping up with demand. Each piece of these razors are tediously hand-sanded before it is buffed and polished to a mirror shine. This process is labor-intensive and we have failed to produce this finish in sufficient quantity. This fall, we are making it a priority to have this finish available more consistently and frequently with the eventual goal of having polished razors in stock on a permanent basis like our machined finish razors.
Upcoming Products
Sabre Inkwell Stand
Coming soon, the Sabre will be receiving an inkwell stand. These are in full production now and more details will be coming by the end of October.
Blackland Slant Razor
Many of you are aware that we have been working on a slant razor for some time. After dozens of designs and prototypes we are narrowing in on a final design. We are pushing hard to have this razor available by the end of the year. Please keep and eye out for updates on this razor and we continue to make progress.
