I hope, I understood you correct. You asking about difference between Manchurian vs Silvertip.
I think, you know what Silvertip badger is. On other side Manchurian has wider dark part of hair.
Technically Manchurian hairs are thicker, but tips should be soft as silvertip.
Result: You will get the stronger backbone (if lot and knot are the same dimension and also density) but the same softness of tips. This is in theory.
But reality is little bit different around tips. Some people said, that tips feels little more scritchy.
Unfortunately i don't have practically experiences with Manchurian knots. So I cant really compare Silver to Manchurian Tips.
