Разобрался.
После ещё одного не самого лучшего бритья (было раздражение в ввиде жжения и кач-во бритья на 4 с двумя минусами) всё же решил положиться на интуицию и всё прошло как надо. Два прохода на большей части лица + третий\добривки там где требовалось и в два почти никогда не выбрить. Итог чистое лицо\ббс, в паре мест с небольшими оговорками. Есть некоторые сложности в пробривке проблемных для меня мест, но они есть почти со всеми станками, что у меня были кроме р41. Ну и что не стало неожиданностью - на станок не надо давить практически вообще, не больше чем на любой другой, автопилот где-то подыгрывает на заднем плане (уже неплохо).
Думаю со временем можно разобраться как им эффективнее пользоваться. Если бы не крайне негативные отзывы (основанные на браке по большей части, но всё же), а так же желание потестировать функции, то побрейся я так сразу сказал бы что для некоторых, этот станок точно "зайдёт", может быть кроме тех кого обычные р89 или среднеагрессивные станки не бреют совсем (при условии наличия опыта бритья конечно), но это уже другая история. Возвращать станок не стану, не знаю оставлю ли я его навсегда, но пока буду им бриться и посмотрю чего можно добиться набив руку, возможно "помацаю" новые лезвия типа GEM и т.д.

В общем к станку надо найти подход, если бреетесь уверенно другуми станками - меньше ориентируйтесь на инструкцию и вполне неплохое бритьё может получиться. Как минимум новый интересный опыт.

з.ы. Кстати интересный получился сеанс бритья: (самая (?) современная и технологичная бритва + шикарные японские лезвия)*(мыло Tabac + A\S Floid Suave)... Разница в несколько поколений, но получилось очень даже )

Для тех кому не подошел (как мне) и хочет продолжить эксперименты дальше, производитель предлагает заменить бритву на такую же, но более агрессивную. Это предложение поступает при заявлении на возврат.
Я решил больше не экспериментировать и отправляю назад.

Мне ничего не предлагали, сразу дали номер RMA и адрес для отправки, написали, как получат станок сразу вернут деньги.

Не бреет , очень мягкий станок , как только не пробовал ,нормально побриться не смог .

Based on the feedback that we received from our round #1 units, we decided to go back to our San Diego-based manufacturer for our newest production run (which we’re wrapping up next week) to make a few updates…

#1: Adding Back “Blade Lift Points” ➞ More Aggressive Shave
Chief amongst updates made is the addition of blade lift points which are incorporated into our GENESIS razor (pictured below) but were purposely omitted from our first round of CORE units.

These points subtly “lift” the blade to ensure an even amount of space above and below the blade within our 0.65mm gap design. Not having these points doesn’t mean that our ideal exposure can’t be reached, but a user is required to apply more pressure to achieve this. And as a result, the typical shave tends to feel a bit more “mild”, ideal for customers coming from a cartridge background.

For those who prefer a milder shave and are happy with the closeness of our round #1 CORE units, exchanging to a new model with the blade lift points added won’t make sense.

However, if you find your current CORE razor to be too mild for your personal preference OR are struggling to remove hair in 3 passes, then we want to coordinate an exchange of your original unit to one of these new units at no charge.

#2: Improved QA with Pivot Junction
We’ve also made improvements to our QA process with our manufacturer to ensure consistent durability between units around parts like our pivot junction. If you've had any issues whatsoever with the pivot of your razor and haven’t already spoken to a member of our support team, please send us an email and we’ll happily coordinate an exchange to a new unit.




Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not getting a great shave from my OneBlade CORE — what can I do?
Please send us an email and we’ll see if it makes sense to exchange your unit with a more aggressive unit… or if it makes sense to cover some best practices and shave technique tips over a quick call. Even if you're an experienced wet shaver, you need to understand that OneBlade is very different than any other razor on the market, and therefore requires a specific approach to angle and pressure in order to be successful.

I’m having a hard time loading blades — is there a defect with my CORE razor head?
No — when inserted properly, a Feather FHS-10 blade will slide easily into place with an audible click, without the need for you to apply any noticeable pressure (pictured below).





Align the blade within the rear insertion slot and allow it to slide ~80% in, then gently push forward with your thumb until you hear a click.

And always make sure that your blade is inserted so that neither front corner is getting caught on the back side of the razor head… if you are feeling any resistance, back your blade out and try again until the blade slides effortlessly into place. You may find that running the blade and razor head under some water helps out with blade loading.

Are the two “front bumpers” on the razor head meant to stop the blade / hold it in place?
No — both our GENESIS and CORE razors include two front corner guards (shown below):





These corner guards are designed purely as an added safety feature to protect you from exposure to the blade on the sides/corners (so that you can safely shave areas of skin like around your nostrils laterally without being exposed to the blade).

These corner guards do not actually stop the blade. Rather, we have an internal latching system in the razor head that serves this purpose (to hold the blade in place).

Сегодня попробовал OneBlade Core - очень качественно бреет. Не хуже чем Mongoose и в то же время гораздо мягче. Посмотрим насколько хватит одного лезвия.

3-4 бритья подряд oneblade core-ом, срезал стопари, лезвия выравнивается спокойно. Станок приятный, бритье комфортное, серьёзно задумался о Genesis.
